Concept Pieces for Environment Design
I designed various objects/ areas that could fit with the environment that I am creating with my group, and I had to make sure these concepts fit the themes of the environment and to make sure that they fit in with the other parts of the environment that the rest of the group were going to make.

Now, I am going to look at the first concept which is a Torii gate the reason I drew this is because I had an idea that in the environment there could be a shrine that is on the outskirts of the village that was attacked and the shrine would be left undamaged due to that shrines typically are places are where people wish for good luck and in being left undamaged implies that there is still hope for this village and at a shrine, there is typically torii gate at the entrance of one.
2nd Concept Piece

For my second concept, I drew an Edo period house and the reason I drew this is because I had the idea that in the environment there is going to be a blacksmith and to make the environment feel less empty, we could include other buildings such as houses to make it feel like a real village that in existed in Edo period Japan.
And I drew this type of house because this was a type of house that would have existed back in the time period and I was trying to be accurate to this time period as this was one of the themes for this group project and down below you can see the image I based this concept on.
