What are Storyboards? and why do we use them

Storyboards are a way for you to be able to plan out a scene and they will consist of illustrations that are displayed right next to each other, and this shows how the animators want the final animation to play out before actually going to animate it so this allows them to change it if they want to since it used to plan out so they don’t have to commit to anything since they haven’t started animating it.

Also, storyboards are a good way of coming up with ideas for animations and this is why they are commonly used so they plan out and come up with ideas for animations also usually underneath the boxes that contain the illustrations the animators usually put notes to show what happens in that scene or how they want it to look in the final animation.

Now, I will be discussing the storyboard that I created and I chose to create one where it shows two-character running into each other the drawings themselves are very basic however I drew them that way to plan out what the scene I was going for could look like as storyboards are used for planning animations and I can develop it further if I was going to create the final version of it.
