What is the Aim of this Character?/ Type of Character that I want to create
What I want to achieve with the character that I am going to create is that I want to make a memorable main character, and I am going to achieve with this the character design because if I make the design itself stand out.
General Appearance of my character
I am going to do this by giving them unique attributes such as them having armour that’s specially made for them so if they were to stand by any other character, they would naturally stand out due to wearing something different from the rest.
However, I don’t want the armour to appear too generic so that the armour could have a unique pattern or the colour scheme could be more unique. however, the colour scheme would have to be able to fit the character well, such as having colours that contrast the character well. I am thinking of going with white armour with golden accents on it, and this could work well since I am thinking of having the character have blonde hair, which could stand well against their hair due to blonde typically being a bright colour. Also, the main character would use a sword as their main weapon and have a similar colour scheme to their armour to stay consistent with the rest of the character.
Race
Human
Personality/Backstory
My character may look tough on the outside. Still, deep down, they are very insecure, and they suffer from serious social anxiety, so they find it hard to deal with many social situations, and they can’t pick up on social cues. They are on the verge of becoming a complete shut-in, hiding from the world.
However, they are forced to face reality as the world they live in is on the brink of destruction due to being stuck in an endless war, and they are forced to partake in it, and they hate it. After all, they are terrified of the world because now they don’t just have to worry about their social anxiety. They got to worry about war, and any mistake could lead to their death, and they don’t even know why they are fighting in the first place and don’t understand why nobody else questions it; it’s like all they have know is fighting since the war has gone on for so long.
But eventually, they meet some like-minded people, and they slowly warm up to them and get more confident over time because their friends and they try to find out why this war is even happing in the first place and try to put to stop to it before it destroys their world.
The overall tone of the Story & the character
Overall the tone will be serious, but I don’t want the character to be serious all of the time. Allow them to have some friendly banter with their friends and allies that they met along the way and some light-hearted moments to break up from the serious moments. Suppose I were to develop this into an actual game. In that case, the main characters and the characters around them being serious all of the time wouldn’t be too interesting. They wouldn’t feel exactly realistic since people joke around and act accordingly depending on the situation they are in sure they are in as they act serious when they need to be. Also, it would show how the main character has grown well if you saw them joking since it shows that they feel more comfortable around the people they are with and have gotten more confident.
Gender
Maybe Male?
Medium
The type of medium that my character will appear in it will be a game. If I were to make this game, type of game it would be an RPG as with that genre. You can tell a deeper story more easily than you could with a platformer, as these types of games tend to have a lot of cut scenes which allow you to develop a character a lot more if you want to create something that has a lot of depth to it.
Also, this would help with the more serious tone that I want my character to have and the world around them to be. This potential game would tend to have much more inspiration from JRPGs instead of more western-made RPGs such as Xenoblade, Final Fantasy and Xenogears. This would be most reflected in the art style that this potential game would have somewhat of an anime look to it but still have somewhat realistic-looking environments, and the images below show this.

Target Audience
The Target audience for my character and the potential game that this character would appear in is young teens from 12 to 16 years old, and the reason I chose this age range is because I want to create a somewhat serious character. At this age range, people want something a bit more serious as they age. They would be able to understand a much deeper character than a young child would be able to. The character’s design will try to appeal to this age range, such as the character won’t have bright colours or look very simple in design as most characters designed for children tend to.
Influences on my Character
When coming up with various ideas regarding the potential design of my character, I looked at various media such as games that I am into, for inspiration as mentioned earlier, I thought about giving my main character armour one game that I looked at for inspiration was Xenoblade 3 as various characters throughout that game wear armour and as I want my character to have a tough looking appearance and having armour that looks somewhat similar to the images below would show this well.

Another influence on my character is the type of weapon that they will use I chose a sword mainly because they look cool, and I looked at various games for inspiration on how I could design the sword for my character as I want the sword that the main character uses to be unique to them and fit the character very well you can see images below from various designs that I looked at for inspiration and the games that I looked at for sword designs which were from Chaos;Child and Xenoblade 2.
